Connect to nature

I think we can all agree that being outdoors is infinitely beneficial to us. When I’m amongst the trees I feel so calm and happy and it’s the best cure for a bad day. My aim is to try and bring these positive aspects of nature into the home. By having handmade things that we use on a daily basis, that have a story and a history, a connection with the land, we can live a more holistic life and re-connect to nature.

Sustainable and traditional

I am hugely passionate about traditional craft and creating work that is sustainable; for everyone, and the planet. Therefore, I only work with wood that has already fallen, or has been cut by professionals, for thinning. This means that I am often using bits of wood that would otherwise be burnt or wasted. My process creates little to no waste and where possible, I use only traditional methods and tools.

Final products

I strongly believe that the items we have in our home and use regularly, are important to our wellbeing and happiness. Whether it’s using a wooden spoon to stir your porridge, or eating soup out of a wooden bowl, it’s the little things throughout our day that make us happy. If I can bring a little bit of nature, something tangible and useful, into your home, I’m happy.
